Who We Are
At Acumen Avenue, we are a team of finance and accounting professionals dedicated to connecting Africa's top talent with premier opportunities in the UK. Our founders, Megan and Kuda, are both South African trained chartered accountants living in London.
Megan attended the University of Cape Town, where she earned a Honours degree specialising in Accounting. Subsequently, she completed her articles to qualify as a South African Chartered Accountant. Distinguishing herself, Megan chose to pursue her qualification training in the UK, specialising in Tech & Media companies. After obtaining her qualifications, Megan initially worked in a traditional finance role before transitioning to specialised financial and governance reporting consulting.
Kuda, on the other hand, is Zimbabwean with a background in finance and accounting. His journey includes undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Science. He commenced his career as an auditor in South Africa, focusing on the mining and consumer goods sectors for three years. Subsequently, he moved to London, gaining extensive experience in audits and valuation advisory services across Europe before completing his Master's degree at London Business School.
Together, Megan and Kuda bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Acumen Avenue, enabling us to offer unparalleled expertise in the finance and accounting industry. Their unique backgrounds provide us with a deep understanding of both the African and UK finance and accounting landscapes, enabling us to offer tailored solutions to our clients and candidates.
